John 14:1-7 New Living Translation
Jesus, the Way to the Father
1 “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. 2 There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? 3 When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. 4 And you know the way to where I am going.”
5 “No, we don’t know, Lord,” Thomas said. “We have no idea where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. 7 If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!”
Prayer
O God, you have prepared for those who love you such good things as surpass our understanding: Pour into our hearts such love towards you, that we, loving you in all things and above all things, may obtain your promises, which exceed all that we can desire; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

A Note from the Pastor’s Desk
To all the women of our church family, mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, mentors, and every woman who nurtures with grace, we continue to honor you today. Your prayers, your strength, your compassion, and your quiet faithfulness shape our lives in ways deeper than you may ever realize.
We also remember those for whom yesterday carried tenderness, those who grieve, those who long, and those whose stories are complex. May the God who sees, knows, and comforts meet you with peace in the days ahead.
Women of God, we thank you. We bless you. And we celebrate the gift you are to this church. Peace and blessings to you on this Monday after Mother’s Day.
